Quarterbacks fear him. Running backs avoid him. Wideouts adjust routes because of him. But when Ernest Jones steps off the field, he doesn’t come across any different that most of San Antonio’s premier student athletes. He’s confident, yet humble; he says “please” and “thank you” and is equally devoted to his textbooks as he is to the playbook. But that’s where most similarities end.
